What could be better than writing about a beautiful part of Scotland? The aim of the Explore Argyll website is to inspire people to come and visit the glorious coastal region of Argyll and the Isles. It’s full of fabulous photos, information and locals’ tips. SAMTEQ did the development and design and we wrote the content and optimised it for search engines. We manage the content of the website on an on-going basis, which includes researching, commissioning and editing locals’ tips and journeys.

SAMTEQ is a web and touch-screen company based in Dunoon, Scotland. It has built web-based products for hundreds of businesses and organisations across the UK and Europe. We work closely with SAMTEQ. As well as providing copywriting and SEO services for websites, we’ve also created interpretive content for a number of interactive touch-screen kiosks. Here are just a few of the websites we’ve worked on with SAMTEQ:

We also wrote the content for SAMTEQ’s website. Ken Coley, SAMTEQ Director, said: ‘We always thought we could write the copy for our website, but when Eve set about re-writing the site the value of a professional copywriter and well written words soon became apparent. Even Google likes the site so much more, and that makes a real difference to the success of our business. Working with Eve was a pleasure as she immersed herself in understanding our business to ensure great results.’

Style & Light

Style and Light homepage

Style and Light website

Glasgow-based lighting expert Cotterell & Co was planning to launch its online store, Style & Light, and the team wanted help with the words. It was important that the new site had a unique voice and that it performed well in the search engines. We spent some time getting to know the business before crafting the copy. We also write the monthly blog and enewsletter and do a spot of PR for the company.
